Castello del Nero is a 12th century castle, restructured and opened as a 5 star deluxe hotel in June 2006. The property comprises an estate of 400 hectares of private game reserve with various kilometres of internal roads and trails ideal for horse riding, biking and trekking.

A shuttle bus complimentary to hotel guests leaves at scheduled hours and drops the guests off in piazza della repubblica.
